Become Grounded.

Find Peace.

Transform

Time does not heal all wounds, and trauma can remain stored in our bodies despite having already tried various ways to heal.

Perhaps you constantly feel overwhelmed, on edge, and find it hard to relax. You feel drained, easily distracted, and reactive.

You begin numbing, experiencing physical discomfort, and often recall painful memories despite trying to forget.

You feel disconnected. You lack a support system that helps you to feel seen and heard. You feel shame, question your worthiness, and struggle to prove yourself through overworking, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and defensiveness.

Maybe it feels like everything is a fight at home, and stress has caused your child to shut down and shut you out. You just want to see them smile again.

Now imagine your ideal situation. How would you think, feel, behave, and connect differently? I want to help you feel better and reach your goals.

You deserve to find the joy and freedom in life you are seeking.

“A Journey Home”

I often describe my services as “a journey home to yourself.” My goal is to help you heal from the inside out and get back to a regulated state where you can truly be who you are without the influences of trauma and stress.

I help youth, teens, college students and young adults, and adults create a sense of inner peace and calm through scientifically supported stress reduction techniques such as breathing, mindfulness, guided meditation, and sensory based holistic healing techniques.

My services may be a good fit for you if you wish to:

  • Have more freedom to choose how you respond to stress instead of automatically reacting in the same patterns

  • Regulate your nervous system

  • Be present, intentional, mindful, and engaged in your life rather than operating on autopilot

  • Feel safe in your body and in relationship to others, and let go of constantly being on edge, overthinking, and waiting for tragedy to strike again

  • Feel affirmed and confident with your most authentic self, without the devastating consequences of shame

  • Form healthy ways to communicate feelings and needs within your most important relationships

  • Create stronger, more stable connections within your family

  • Create more success academically and professionally

 FAQs

  • I am in-network with Aetna, United Healthcare, Oscar Health, and Oxford. If you are not covered under these plans, I will work with you to determine if you are eligible for out of network insurance benefits. If so, I provide superbills for you to submit as you may be eligible for partial reimbursement. I accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. I also accept FSA and HSA account cards and will provide a superbill for those as well.

  • I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss whether we would be a good fit to work together. I will provide referrals to other skilled therapists should we decide that my therapeutic approach would not match your needs. While I cannot make any guarantees, promises, or claims about how you might respond to therapy, I will work collaboratively with you to consistently assess the treatment goals and their effectiveness, and I am happy to tweak my approach to meet your specific, individual needs. I find that therapy is most effective when clients feel safe rather than guarded or defensive, and I work hard to create an inclusive, disarming, supportive counseling environment for you.

  • I work primarily in-person but will offer Telehealth sessions if we decide it could be an appropriate fit for you. I offer Telehealth sessions if either of us are sick out of protection for all who enter the office.

  • I see youth age 6+ through adults, however, most of my experience is with grades 2-12. For younger clients, I work collaboratively with both you and your child to develop skills (social, emotional regulation, communication skills) and positive, effective parenting strategies.

  • No. You would need to see a licensed psychiatrist for this kind of service. I also do not provide formal evaluations for ADHD, Autism, and other neurodevelopmental conditions. I can help you locate the appropriate providers for these services if needed.
